Barnowl started with a simple frustration: good trousers were either stiff and expensive or soft and short-lived. We wanted a pair that looked right in a meeting and still felt easy on a long commute.
Every style begins with the fabric. We favour breathable cotton, linen blends and recycled fibres, then spend our time on the parts people notice after a few months: seams, waistbands and how the hem falls.
We are a small team selling directly through Instagram, which means you talk to the people who made your trousers, and we make fewer pieces, better.
